Phil has been married to Chris for 20 years. He is the father to Kevin, stepfather to Tony and Dan, and the grandfather of 11. He joined the Navy at 19 and served on the USS Midway, doing two tours in Vietnam. The USS Midway is now housed in San Diego as a museum. After his service, he went to work for American Steel and retired after 28 years. Prior to retirement, he started On the Spot Engraving, working for Tony from their garage. He sold the business to Tony in 2013. Phil currently has a business at home doing hydrographics on various items, such as dashboards, wheels, guns, etc. Phil loves cars and car shows, enjoys all aspects of motorsports, and is currently restoring a 1967 Nova.
